The Story
Engineered Case Manufacturers Inc. (ECM) was founded in 1988, based on the principle of providing the best performing transit (road) cases in the industry. Our prime concern is to provide the ultimate in product protection and ensure that customer requirements are met in a cost effective and timely manner.
To assure our customers that our products provide the utmost in protection, our cases have been tested and conform to the industry standard ATA (Air Transport Association) Specification 300 drop test requirements.
Founding Principles
Founded on the principle of using the finest materials available, ECM manufactures custom heavy duty cases for customers who need the best, and recognize the value of a long lasting case.
As the business has evolved, we expanded our product line to include welded aluminum cases in 1995 and plastic molded cases in 1997.
In 2001 we expanded our offering to include lighter duty cases. The same high quality construction principles of our heavy-duty riveted case line are now applied to our lighter duty stapled, and stapled and glued construction case line. Not all customers require the level of protection of our heavy duty riveted construction case line, but all customers want the best quality their money can buy.
