DRAWERS
One of the more convenient options available for your ECM case, drawers are perfect for protecting and separating parts, valuable tools or other small items. Drawers can be custom made to your exact specifications. Alternatively, rack-mountable drawers are a simple, elegant solution where cases are used for multiple purposes. Other drawer options include the installation of locks for security purposes, dividers, and custom foam inserts.
TRAYS
Trays are another way of increasing the usable space within a case. They are very useful for organizing groups of equipment that need to travel together. Tray design is limited only by the space available inside your case.
RAMPS
Ramps are an excellent choice to enable loading and unloading of large/heavy pieces of equipment. At ECM we have designed ramp equipped cases for medical equipment, pianos, computer racks, photocopiers and even automobile engines.
DIVIDERS SHELVES AND PARTITIONS.
"Dividers, shelves, and partitions are the same thing; only the orientation varies—they are all 'dividers'. At ECM we do not use screws through the side of the case to mount the dividers, this results in a weak divider that can lead to damage to the contents. To ensure strength and long life, we attach a length of metal angle to the case, then attach the divider to the angle. Finally, the divider is capped with either aluminum or PVC U-cap or lined with industrial carpet. The end result is a divider that is as strong as the rest of the case.

EXTERIOR: MOUNTINGS
ECM can custom fabricate mounting accessories or design special hardware to add functionality to your case. Mounting arms (as shown) or electrical inlets are two common examples.
EXTERIOR: CASTERS AND WHEELS
We have a wide variety of casters that are available to suit your case requirement, ranging from 2” phenolic casters to 10” pneumatic wheels and everything in between. Most common is our proprietary 4” swivel caster available in rigid, brake and swivel formats. This caster has a load rating of 450 lb and utilizes needle bearings in the hub for extremely smooth operation on all surfaces.
